Shopping service

In response to a need in the local community, New Life Baptist Church has set up a shopping service in 2009.  It is entirely free and available to anyone over 60 who is unable to do their own shopping and has nobody to do it for them.   The service operates in the West Bridgford / Lady Bay / Gamston area.

The process is simple:

1  Phone 07982 235 717 in the morning (between 9.00am and 1.00pm).   We'll take your details, explain the service in more detail and phone you back with the name of your shopper and agree when your shopper will visit you.

2  Your shopper visits and collects your shopping list

3  Your shopper does your shopping and comes back normally within 2 hours

All our shoppers are volunteers and have been checked with the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau).
